I am not confused.

My name is Betsy Cañas Garmon.

I’m a truth-teller, wisdom catcher and image maker.

Ultimately, all of my work is about helping people reframe the way they curate their personal narrative.  Because we all have a beautiful, wild life to BE in and a powerful story/message/way to collect and pour out the oil of our living for service and healing.

That is what I do.

And I am not confused.

Answering this invitation from Alexandra Franzen.  Thank you Cynthia Lee for holding up a lantern today.

I create containers for words and paint and I fill them. I craft safe, sacred spaces for people to wrestle, create, heal and shout from the mountain tops.   And I teach people to do all of these things for themselves.

Aileen – Right back at ya!

  • I love this declaration! Your words have captured exactly how I experience you moving through the world. I am so glad that you are here and sinking into the knowing of yourself and your offering to the world.

I loved this … and at first, it felt so … I don’t know … weirdly pretentious to claim who I am and what I do and why.
But I kept reading my words out loud and I thought … those are the words of a woman who knows.
I think that I may return to this every so often … to defining in this way … to making this proclamation …
because I constantly see different facets of my life and my being in the world.

Cynthia – “Those are the words of a woman who knows.” Yes!! When I read your words that’s exactly what resonated in me. You know who you are. And then I thought: I know who I am. And my commitment to myself this year. My birthday present to my self, is to act like it. I see who you are; I’m glad you see who I am. <3
