Recycled London Journal

An iPhone shot of my London Journal. {made from a pretty file folder and various papers – including the cardboard insert from a package of travel stickers.} A “Behind the Pages” post is in the making. Loved having the whole book designed and waiting for text and ephemera. {Could have traveled with a tape runner, three pens and an ink pad. Oh, and little scissors.}

Btw, I’ll be showing how to make a simple journal from a file folder in the “Re-use/Recycle” class that starts on July 22. Join us! {see the bottom of the page HERE for details.}

About the Author:

I create containers for words and paint and I fill them. I craft safe, sacred spaces for people to wrestle, create, heal and shout from the mountain tops.
And I teach people to do all of these things for themselves.

    It beckons me.

  • Elizabeth – Can’t wait to share! {see the random blue “squares”? Ruby and I made a collage together and she was so excited she helped me add details to my journal. ;)}

    It amazes me how you can take just about anything (receipt, wrapper, etc.) and turn it into something artistic! You inspire me; might try it.

  • So how can those of us who are not able to attend your workshops learn from you and glean wisdom?! i want to know how you made this. I recently bought some cool file folders- because I needed them? NO! because they were soooo cute!

    • Shay- You’re in luck!! We’re in the process of turning my workshops into online format! This fall rather than teach classes, I’m taking over the basement and filming videos. I’ll be sure and keep you in the loop!
