“Live with intention.

Walk to the edge.

Listen Hard.

Practice wellness.

Play with abandon.

Choose with no regret.

Appreciate your friends.

Continue to learn.

Do what you love.

Live as if this is all there is.”

For as long as I can remember, I’ve looked to the sky to find the moon.  My parents used to sing us a moon song.

“I see the moon.  The moon sees me.  The moon sees the one I long to see…”

My brother and sister and I sang the song often.

This is one of my favorite photos of the three of us.  This was the season of “I see the moon.”

The sky has always held orientation for humans.  In the rhythm of my life, I look to the sky for reminders.

Tonight there is a new moon in the sky.

The new moon hands us monthly reminders to put intention and focus toward the way we live our days.  Tonight I’m celebrating milestones with family and putting focus and intention on what is ahead for the next 28 days.

I’m letting that little sliver of light wash the NEXT with hope.
